Movie meme

EagleSpeak passes on a mind virus.

Total number of films I own: About 25 . . . I think. I don't buy many; I rent and borrow like mad, though. I can't stand television and don't get cable, so I see lots of movies. My library is connected with a regional network that allows me to plumb the depths of dozens of catalogues, allowing me to see tons of unrentable classics without spending a dime.

The last film I bought: I'll Sleep When I'm Dead.

The last film I watched: Fanny and Alexander.

Five favorite films I either watch frequently or that mean a lot to me (in no particular order):

  1. The Big Lebowski
  2. The Awful Truth
  3. Ronin
  4. Jackie Brown
  5. Chinatown

Hard choices there. I pass the virus to Scaryfairy, James N, Athena, Nadezhda, and Thomas Nephew.

This started with EagleSpeak, went to Stygius, who then passed it onto me and a few others. So, let's see: Total number of films I own: I don't know, mostly because our collection here has increased and I have a ton of flicks in storage in Maryland.... [Read More]

Wheeee! Any distraction - any at all. (Wow. It took me forever to get it. I'm a lot more robust than any of us think.) So. I'll post my movie meme over in scaryfairy territory because I'm in need of an easy breezy blog - too much cultural contemplation lately and you KNOW no one can stand too many days in a row of THAT crap. (I conveniently forget to mention that it's CRAP contemplation. lol) So. Please find evidence of my contagion tomorrow. 12 June 2005.

It's only fairy (NO Kidding, that was a genuine accident of a sloppy typist) - only FAIR to say that my virus obviously mutated or something (whatever virii do)because I was forced to fiddle with the rules and regulations. My list of movie faves was rather ..er ... expanded. lol. I refuse to be scolded. These memes are tricky little bastards.

I myself resisted the weakness to which you succumbed. Actually, about ten minutes after I posted it I wanted to revamp the whole thing . . .

The Aging Population Hurts The Economy

More or less nothing seems important. It's not important. Shrug. Whatever. I've just been hanging out doing nothing, but eh. I can't be bothered with anything lately.

I haven't been up to much lately. So it goes. What can I say? I've just been letting everything wash over me recently, not that it matters. I just don't have much to say these days.

My life's been bland. I've basically been doing nothing to speak of, but what can I say? Not that it matters. Eh. Such is life.
