Total number of films I own: About 25 . . . I think. I don't buy many; I rent and borrow like mad, though. I can't stand television and don't get cable, so I see lots of movies. My library is connected with a regional network that allows me to plumb the depths of dozens of catalogues, allowing me to see tons of unrentable classics without spending a dime.

The last film I bought: I'll Sleep When I'm Dead.

The last film I watched: Fanny and Alexander.

Five favorite films I either watch frequently or that mean a lot to me (in no particular order):

1. The Big Lebowski
2. The Awful Truth
3. Ronin
4. Jackie Brown
5. Chinatown

Hard choices there. I pass the virus to Scaryfairy, James N, Athena, Nadezhda, and Thomas Nephew.

Wheeee! Any distraction - any at all. (Wow. It took me forever to get it. I'm a lot more robust than any of us think.) So. I'll post my movie meme over in scaryfairy territory because I'm in need of an easy breezy blog - too much cultural contemplation lately and you KNOW no one can stand too many days in a row of THAT crap. It's only fairy (NO Kidding, that was a genuine accident of a sloppy typist) - only FAIR to say that my virus obviously mutated or something (whatever virii do)because I was forced to fiddle with the rules and regulations.
